Fallon Chirock’s ambitions to win a PDC Tour ticket are ended after the “Queen of the Palace” lost her second match on the final day of Q School on Saturday.

Sherrock, who defeated Wes Newton to book her place in the final stage of the UK School Q, has struggled the last few days in Milton Keynes with early defeats to Danny Lupe, Josh Richardson and Justin Smith.

She went up against young Jared Cole in her opening clash, and “King of the Castle” took Sherook in the decisive penalty kick.

However, Sherrock produced an impressive leg of 11 stocks, including two at a max, before cleaning up a 58 to seal her place in the next round.

Sherrock then went up against Nathan Treadgold, but fell 4-0 to the Welshman before going up in a small showdown by winning three of the next four. However, it was Treadgold who ended the contest to end her hopes of progressing.

The Buckinghamshire bomber Sherook was aiming to become the second woman to land on the PDC Tour after Lisa Ashton achieved the feat in 2020.

Knowing that she had to win Saturday’s tournament outright in order to take her place among the exuberant elite, Sherrock simply couldn’t take her stunning theatrical form on the floor.

The 27-year-old rose to fame at the 2020 World Championships, where she became the first woman to win a World Championship match.

She also reached the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam Darts Championships, finishing second to Michael Van Gerwin at last year’s Nordic Darts Masters.
