Kanye West storms off in anger after allegedly punching out a fan

The Los Angeles Police Department said Kanye West is a suspect in the battery report for allegedly punching an autograph student Thursday morning.

Dramatic post-accident footage showed West, 44, shouting “get off me” at a woman trying to calm him while the unidentified fan lies on the floor, clutching his head in pain.

The accident occurred in downtown Los Angeles at about 3 a.m. outside a Soho warehouse.

The woman in the video can be heard saying to the rapper, “I’m your family” as she tries to hold his hand and make him relax. She was identified as a cousin.

No, get away from me! And the West shouts: ‘There are no hands, no hands’.

“You were supposed to talk to her,” he adds, walking away.

The person who recorded the video could be heard saying, ‘Why did he do that? What’s up?’

Witnesses told TMZ that West punched the man twice in the head and once in the neck, hitting him down and causing the fan to hit his head on the sidewalk.

They added that West had asked the fan and a small group of people outside the Soho warehouse not to take pictures of him.

The rapper was previously photographed giving the alleged victim an autograph outside Craig’s restaurant on January 10.

West supposedly told the group that they didn’t understand what he was going through, but when the signing finder told him that everyone was going through “family stuff,” West allegedly shocked and attacked the man.

The alleged victim refused medical treatment at the scene, and the Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

Earlier in the evening, West was with his new girlfriend Julia Fox at Delilah in West Hollywood for a star-studded dinner after spending the evening with Madonna and Floyd Mayweather.

The group seemed to be in high spirits after Diana Ross’ son Evan Ross shared video footage of them on Instagram.

While it was previously reported that West’s new romance is getting under the skin of his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, sources have claimed that she is happy to see the Donda artist smile again.

West, who is no stranger to controversy, has had his share of bangs over the years.

During the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, an award he claims should have gone to Beyoncé.

In 2018, West spoke about his support for former President Donald Trump. Wearing the Make America Great Again hat in the Oval Office, he gave a pessimistic speech to Trump and reporters, stating that Trump is ‘on his hero’s journey’ and telling him he loves him.

But in 2020, West announced that he no longer supported Trump when he launched his presidential campaign.

‘I take off the red hat,’ he told Forbes, ‘through this interview,’ although it was not clear whether Trump’s handling of the pandemic – which Kaine described as ‘one big mess’ – may also have been a cause. .

He also said it was wrong to assume that blacks would always vote Democrats. He claimed that “to say that black voting is democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.”

West has continued to rant on Twitter about everything from the attack against the #MeToo movement and “abolition of culture” to calling COVID-19 vaccines the “mark of the beast.”

Kim initially filed for divorce in early 2021, but was seen by his side for several months to support the release of his new album.

In a thorny interview with Revolt TV last November, which included several twists and turns left, he discussed jokes Kim made about their breakup when she hosted Saturday Night Live last month.

In her opening monologue, Kim, 41, quipped, “When you divorced him, you have to know it’s only about one thing: his personality.”

Speaking of the digs, West responded, “SNL made my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get rid of that ban… and I never see the papers, we didn’t even get divorced.”

“I want us to be together,” West added, before insisting that “the media” didn’t want him and Kim to resolve their differences.

Since the interview, Kim and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson have publicly announced their relationship, as has West and Julia Fox, who went out in West Hollywood just hours before the accident involving Kanye and the unknown cheerleader.

The investigation into Thursday’s incident comes less than 24 hours after West was named one of the main acts at this year’s Coachella Festival alongside Billie Eilish and Harry Styles.

The rapper has not publicly commented on the incident.
