“If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or Senate, you have to have a working relationship” with Trump, Graham said, during a widely mocked interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Wallace criticized “Deadline: The White House” presenter Graham for worshiping Trump and for throwing McConnell “under the bus” with his comments.
“It’s time to kiss and make peace with a rebel if you want to be a leader,” Graham basically told McConnell.
“What’s a business relationship with a loser who’s been rescinded, who is under criminal investigation, even looks? What does that even mean?” asked Wallace, who served as director of communications at the White House under former President George W. Bush and has since fired on The same name as “the former self-hate republic”.
